Do you have a special interest, talent or life experience that you would like to share with us? Lunch Break is interested in matching your talent with a volunteer opportunity. Highlighted in bold print are ways you can help.
Organize Food Drives
Keeping our food pantry well stocked is our number one priority. Our inventory is especially low during the late summer and early fall. Can you organize a food drive of non-perishable food for us?
For instance, a food drive can be:
- At grocery stores
- At your office or company
- At your club or organization
- At your school
- At your church or synagogue
- In your neighborhood
Sponsor a wish list items
We need items that will help make our daily operation run smoothly. This can be anything from simple kitchen items to more expensive ones like computers, or even improvements to our 25 year old building.
There are different ways you can help us. For example:
- Buy item outright
- Fundraise for bigger items, sometimes in conjunction with other organizations
Please contact Executive Director Gwen Love to discuss your ideas (732 747 8577).
