Adopt-A-Family Program

Every holiday Lunch Break, “Monmouth County’s first soup kitchen and pantry”, turns into Santa’s Little Workshop by undertaking a huge holiday operation to provide gifts for hundreds of the areas neediest children. Through our “Adopt a Family” program we provide new and age appropriate gifts to local, underprivileged children from newborn to 15 years of age. In order for this program to be a success we depend on the support and generosity of many kind individuals and organizations.

How you can help?
“Adopt” some of our neediest children by purchasing gifts for them this holiday season.

How the program works?
You can come into Lunch Break and look over information provided by the parents and select who you would like to adopt. Or you can request that we select the family for you based on a specific number of children and ages you prefer to shop for. You then purchase the gifts based on information that we provide.
Or
You can donate random gifts not attached to any specific family and Lunch Break will use the gifts to fill the bags of those who will not get adopted or for those who need more gifts to fill the bags.
