Between 4,000 and 5,000 meals are served every month including hot breakfasts on Saturdays. And 1600 to 2000 bags of emergency food are distributed. Given the amount of food we serve and hand out, we need a steady supply coming in.
You can help us continue to feed the hungry in our community by:
Drop off food donations at our back door:
- Donating non perishable food items for our food pantry.
Our most pressing and ongoing challenge is to keep our pantry shelves stocked.
- Donating garden fruits and vegetables.
We welcome your fresh garden herbs, fruits and vegetables.
- Donating commercially prepared foods.
We accept leftover food that has been prepared in a commercial kitchen, such as a restaurant or caterer as long as it is labeled with the date, content and name of the organization donating the food. Due to the Board of Health Regulations, Lunch Break cannot accept food that is prepared in residential kitchens.
- Organizing food drives.
Organize a food drive or become a partner in Lunch Break’s Food Drive Program. For more information go to How to organize a food drive.
Monday through Friday: 9:00am – 2:30pm
