How to Become a Partner in Lunch Break's Food Drive Program
During holiday months we distribute extra holiday food bags in addition to regular monthly provisions.
Many of our food drives originate in area schools but decrease during the Summer months when children are out of school.
Government budgets have reduced their support of foodbanks nationwide. As a recipient of food from The Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, we have seen both the amount and variety of food we receive for free dramatically decrease.
In order to maintain a steady supply and variety of food on our pantry shelves Lunch Break encourages you to consider becoming a partner in our Food Drive Program.
By becoming a partner in Lunch Break’s Food Drive Program you would be asked to schedule a food drive once or twice a year. If you are interested, please contact the Chair of the Food Drive Program, Mrs. Susan Haugenes 732-741-8577 or shaugenes@lunchbreak.org to schedule your food drives.
